I went to high school in Princeton, New Jersey. Afterward, I moved to the big city of New York and enrolled at New York University. Currently, I am still attending the university while working on my Television and Playwriting degrees. My main areas of focus, as a tutor, are German and English. I can instruct all levels of German, as I speak the language fluently. Of course, I am also fluent in English, so anything to do with essay writing, grammar, and SAT skills I am able to help with. It is rewarding to see a student discover new ways of solving problems on their own. I like to give and am very gung-ho about learning. I strive to create a positive environment that is based on encouragement and motivation rather than on punishment. When a student gets something wrong, I show them how they could have studied better. Once they see where they went wrong, they are able to locate the answers without my help. I also provide lots of constructive critiques for written work.Video games are something I enjoy in my free time. I also participate in knitting, guitar playing, and watching television. Sometimes, I simply like to unwind by catching up on sleep.
