Private tutor in New York, NY

Education

Columbia University in the City of New York - Bachelors, Theatre and Dramatic Arts

Experience

For many years, I have helped teach various subjects and being a native Spanish speaker helps. I also tutor English, reading, writing, essay editing, history, public speaking, study skills, social studies, and preparation for the ACT, PSAT, and SAT. I provide homework support and summer tutoring as well. Tutoring excites me and I love to learn traditional and also creative learning methods. In the past, I've worked with all ages and understand how frustrated, confused, or unchallenged students can be. I can empathize and find an alternative way to help. For me, it's a gift and honor to watch students make progress thanks to my passion, dedication, and hard work.I recently graduated Columbia University and am pursuing a theatre and education career. New York City is where I live and I enjoy performing, writing, reading, and drawing in my spare time. My interests also include soccer, swimming, and dancing.
