ExperienceI love to tutor, and I see teaching as a responsibility. I must teach others, because after receiving an extensive education, I feel it is imperative that knowledge be passed down through the generations. I hold a bachelor's degree from Boston College in Elementary Education and Economics, and I am in the process of earning a master's degree from Columbia University in Economics and Education. In terms of teaching experience, I worked through BC's Lynch School of Education and taught students of many different backgrounds. I served as a Student Teacher and taught kindergarten, 4th grade, and 6th grade. I am also qualified to teach grades 1-6. Volunteering is one of my favorite ways to spend my time, and I have taught students of various ages and abilities through different volunteer initiatives and even tutored students online. My tutoring specialties are Reading, Math, Writing, Science, and Social Studies. Although I have a lot of experience working with younger students, I also enjoy tutoring advanced Mathematics and English concepts to college-level students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, taking walks, practicing yoga, and spending time with my family.
