Hi Families! My Certifications: NYS Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6 NYS Childhood Education Grades 1-6 (pending extension) I am currently working as a special ed teacher for grades K-8 during the school day. I've tutored 8th grade students, in math, in the past, and have begun to tutor again this year. I'm currently looking for additional tutoring jobs after school. I've been working with kids for 11 years. I started as a dance teacher and babysitter, and went on to become an elementary special education teacher. I have been teaching since '08. I did my student teaching for my special ed degree in a school that employed ABA practices, and I'm extremely patient. I develop lessons in alignment with state standards, that incorporate my students interests and talents.
