Education

Columbia University in the City of New York - Bachelors, Industrial Engineering: Operations Research

Experience

I received my bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University. I was always a straight A student. However, I needed some assistance when it came time to take the standardized testing that was required for admission into college. I also attended prep school for two years. From this, I learned how to retain the information I needed. I believe that I am a unique teacher because I take some time to truly grasp the needs of the students.I also work with my students to come up with a new learning strategy that will work the best for them. Also, by showing my students that I will work as hard as I need to, they become motivated to do the same.I am able to tutor in a wide variety of subjects including geometry, physics, trigonometry, college essays, psychology, Mandarin Chinese, and ACT writing. In my spare time, I enjoy fitness, cooking, and health.
