Private tutor in New York, NY

University of California-Santa Barbara - Bachelors, Latin Literature and Sociology; New York University - Masters, Performance Studies

I have over six years of experience teaching various subjects: from art to Spanish to writing to math to history. My first teaching and tutoring experience was back during my undergraduate years at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2007-2011). I worked for the organization, Upward Bound, where I worked with Junior High students that predominately came from Spanish speaking and low-income communities. Afterwards, I taught, for two years (2012-2013), writing and history courses for freshmen and sophomore college students at the University of California, Berkeley. Most recently, I was an assistant editor for an academic journal that's published by NYU. I'm a strong believer in education. I have the patience and creativity to help individuals grasp and understand difficult concepts and theories. I'm very friendly, reliable, and a hard worker. I truly have a passion for teaching and working with youth.
