With my prior experience I am able to Incorporate it into my approach in working with students in today’s world. How to work with US companies is one focus and teaching them conversational English is another. With students things are different in 2015 than they were in 2000. Finding ways To keep it current but useful and keep the student interested is always a challenge. We worked, helping companies with hiring top talent for their organizations. This approach works hand in hand for learning the French language and how to conduct a meeting in a foreign company. My name is Patrick and I was born and educated in Paris, France I have dual French and US. citizenship. my native language is French and English is my second language. I am proficient in Italian and Spanish as well and I have been teaching French since 2008. When tutoring, it depends on the goal of the student. I help with accent correction, pronunciation and fluidity. I also teach grammar, assist with reading, writing, translations and interpretations. I find this approach works for each situation and not treat everyone the same. Everyone learns at a different pace. My Goal is to make the student confortable and present the material in a way that they will find it interesting and easy enough however challenging to grasp the language, understand it and feel confortable in using it in the classroom, casual business interaction, general conversation or planning a pleasure or business trip to France. I enjoy French literature and I incorporate it into my lessons. I find that a student can relate to something such as artwork and history lessons. Even ordering in a restaurant makes the experience one of enjoyment and the rate of success in learning the language has a higher retention rate among the students. My students consist of beginners around the age of 8 all the way to working with corporations that want to send Managers, Directors and Senior Executives to France and feel confortable in speaking conversational French. Over the last few years I started tutoring on a smaller scale and I found that I truly enjoyed the experience. I wanted to expand and living in New York City has been a place to incorporate everything into a lesson. I feel my students have been able to accomplish something in addition to learning the language. This is the reason I want to apply for the position with your company. I have enjoyed it so much that I have reduced my regular schedule with a company I have owned for 14 years to devote myself to working with individuals that want to learn different languages.
