I studied social psychology at Bard College and received my master's degree in nonprofit management at The New School for Public Engagement. My deepest passion is to help direct a positive progression in education, which is what led me to pursue a career in the field. While attending college, I was involved in many opportunities engaging in the concerns of the public, and in programs for social development. As I studied at Bard, two of my summers were spent in Qingdao, Northern China. While I was there, I became fluent in Mandarin Chinese. I also participated in researching behavior related to preschool children in China with the Qingdao University. Thereafter, I went to Hong Kong and took a semester at Lingnan University and participated in their exchange program for cross-cultural social psychology.I enjoy tutoring others the subjects that I favor: English, Chinese Mandarin, Reading, Writing, verbal SAT, and Regents exams. I have experience tutoring children up to college-aged adults and I believe that my dedication to a student's goals are what make me a splendid tutor. I enjoy the arts such as painting, drawing, and foreign films. I also love enjoying the outdoors, and love going on nature walks and snowboarding.
