I love tutoring! I'm a Harvard and UC Berkeley grad, as well as a writer, actor, musician and scholar. I've been tutoring, teaching and coaching for ten years, including years of experience teaching at New York private and charter schools. ACADEMICS My experience ranges from kindergarten up through middle school, high school and even college students. Excellent SAT and AP scores (available on request). I specialize in subjects including English, Writing (Analytical, Persuasive, Expository, Scientific, Application-Based, Creative), Literature, Spanish (fluent), Math (through BC Calculus), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Social Studies (U.S. / World History), among others. I have also prepared students for the Regents tests, SAT, ACT, and other assessments. I firmly believe that acting, speech and performance experience can be helpful for those dealing with social problems, or jobs where speech/elocution or social interaction is necessary. MUSIC As a graduate of the Certificate Merit (Panel) and National Guild of Piano Players Associations, trained in classical piano and jazz/classical trumpet, as well as a proficient songwriter (experience from the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop), I'd be excited to tutor anyone of any age or experience level with any style of music in piano, guitar or trumpet! I've also helped high school students feel comfortable with college through coordinating work with the orientation programs through the Alumni Scholars Association: Berkeley Experience Program and Overnight Stay Program - I'm approachable and friendly!
