I graduated from Columbia University with degrees in Psychology and Linguistics.For a long time, I have been passionate about learning and developing my own study skills. As a tutor, I have worked with students on a wide variety of topics, including preparation for standardized tests like the PSAT, SAT, and Regents exams. Test preparation is one of my specialties, because I feel good helping students experience less anxiety in test situations. I also tutor students in various math topics, like algebra 1, algebra 2, calculus, and lower-level mathematics courses. Tricks to understanding mathematics subjects are my specialty; I also enjoy guiding my students to improve their writing skills. It is incredible to me when students feel excited about school.
