I am a tutor who can work with students on a multitude of subjects. I'm most passionate about helping students with their writing and reading abilities, but I'm also available to tutor algebra, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, literature, grammar, history, geography, religious studies, English, social studies, and more. I'm also available to do SAT and ACT test prep, and I can work with students on their public speaking skills and their study skills. I earned my degree in Religious Studies with a minor in both Creative Writing and History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a college student I was recognized by my professors for my academic achievements. I have experience working with students between the ages of eight and fifteen, and in the past I have served as a student mentor, camp counselor, and tutor. I love working with students and I find it very rewarding to watch a student succeed. I particularly enjoy witnessing a student discover their love of writing. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy reading a good work of fiction and partaking in discussions about current world affairs. I also enjoy watching films and attending the theater.
