Education

Institut d'études politiques de Paris - B.A., International Relations

Experience

I have a degree in Transatlantic Relations which I received from a university in Paris. I love French and English culture, and I make an effort to instill this love of the culture in my students, as I believe that it makes it easier to learn the language. I also try to incorporate my love of history, music, cinema, cuisine, and society into my lessons, as it helps to experience the language in real-life situations. I have studied French for more than eight years, lived and worked in France for three years, and taught English and French for 2 years. I have found that immersion classes seem to be the most successful for learning the language, making sure that there is a strong foundation in grammar in addition to any memorization that is needed. I am available to teach French 1 through 4, as well as help students prepare for the ACT. In my free time, I enjoy theater, foreign films, music of all types, politics, traveling, and exploring New York.
