Experience
I am presently tutoring in history. I have tutored over 50 students, all of whom gave me five stars. I tutored Global and American History and all of my students passed the regents. I also tutored for the AP and the SAT II test in American History. One of my students received a five in the AP test and an 800 in the SAT II test. I worked for 25 years in publishing and for about 20 years teaching in high school, in New York City. I received a masters in History from New York University, where I learned in detail about 19th century European History, which was my passion. I continued to receive a masters in Social Studies Education from Columbia University teachers college, where I learned how to tutor for varied learning styles and how to create a meaningful connection between history to the present day and modern society.
