I must start by saying that I owe much of my success in life to the tutors and professors who have helped me over the years. While I have always put a lot of time into studying, my tutors and professors have shown me the way and made me believe that I had the ability to be a high achieving student.Before becoming a tutor, I was the valedictorian of my high school, where I received 5s on many of my advanced placement exams and was in the 99+ percentile for my SAT score. From there, I attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I graduated at the top of my class. In addition to tutoring, I work as a web developer.I have been a tutor for over four years, and I have realized a great deal about teaching during that time. I know that some teaching methods simply won't work for some students, so there is no point in continuing on with these methods that are just going to lead to frustration. I want my students to learn efficiently, while having fun in the process. I tutor in subjects like algebra, calculus, trigonometry, engineering, web design, statistics, and computer science and can also help with test preparation.
