I graduated magna cum laude from Emory University where I majored in Biology (BS) and minored in Anthropology with a cumulative 3.89 GPA. I am also an International Baccalaureate (IB) Program Diploma recipient. I am currently a Medical Science Research Assistant at Columbia University Medical Center.
Experience
I have previously served as a volunteer tutor for elementary and middle school students. I was a Teaching Assistant for an Introduction to Biology course in college. I also taught a weekly general education requirement course, Health 100, for freshmen college students. I have received a 5 on 6 AP exams (calculus AB, psychology, government, statistics, macroeconomics, human geography). I also scored 97th percentile on SAT Math and Writing, as well as 93rd percentile on the new MCAT 2015. I have significant experience working with children (over 175 hours of volunteer service at a Children's Hospital) and know how to effectively engage them. I would love to tutor your child to spark their interests in subjects I really enjoy, particularly math and science.
