Education

University of Pennsylvania - BA, Cinema Studies

Experience

I am a 2013 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in cinema studies with minors in English and consumer psychology. Currently, I live in New York City and I work in the television industry. My job involves a great deal of writing and reading. I have very strong skills in both those areas, as well as in organization and time management, so I look forward to helping students in those areas, as well as in math. During my undergraduate studies, I spent two years tutoring struggling elementary school and middle school students from West Philadelphia. I am available to tutor elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, psychology, and the social sciences. I can tutor students during the summer months, and I also enjoy helping students write college admissions essays and prepare for standardized tests such as the PSAT and SAT.In my spare time, I like to go to the movies, run, read in the park, see a play, or attend a new exhibit at a museum.
