I have a master's degree in International Education from NYU Steinhardt and a bachelor's degree in Individualized Study from NYU Gallatin. Each lesson plan should be individualized for a student. As I work with a student, I utilize their strengths and style of learning to overcome their academic weaknesses. My teaching and tutoring experience has included elementary-age students in classrooms for both non-profits and school settings. I describe myself as competent, patient, and thorough. My tutoring focuses on math in the elementary level, middle school level, algebra, statistics, and trigonometry. I can work with students on their English grammar as well. I'm also available to help students with test prep including the PSAT, SAT, SHSAT, and ISEE. In my free time, I enjoy writing spec scripts, reading on the latest trends across different fields, jumping rope, and practicing yoga.
