Education

University of Chicago - BA, Economics

Experience

I earned my education and degree from the University of Chicago in Economics. My tutoring experience includes a variety of age levels, from primary on up to the secondary level. I am a qualified tutor in a vast variety of subject areas, including math, science, history, Spanish, English, and psychology. I can tutor courses such as Algebra I and II, Precalculus, Calculus I and II, Statistics, Trigonometry, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Spanish I through IV, and many aspects of English. As a tutor, I like to stress the importance of test-taking strategies, because succeeding on tests is often about more than just knowing the basic subject matter. My hope is to aid students in building self-confidence at taking exams and experiencing academic success. In my spare time, I enjoy endurance running and training. I also have a passion for fine dining, video games, and volunteering with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
