Education
I received my BS in Mathematics from York College. I also received my MSEd in School Building Leadership from St. Johns University. I participated in student government and I was elected as a mathematics senator. I also was the Bridge Club President. I had a very active education.
Experience
Education is my life. I've been a classroom teacher for the past seven years and a tutor for the past eight years. I've enjoyed every year. There is nothing like educating young people and having an influence on their future endeavors. My specialty is mathematics. I feel mathematics contributes to explaining how the world works. When I tutor, I use many applications in mathematics to help enlightened the minds of young people. My ultimate goal for my students is to gain an appreciation for mathematics. As a result, students will gain better comprehension and be better active learners in the classroom.
