Experience
Greetings! After being a TA throughout my college and graduate study, I'm looking to further the experience with a more one-on-one experience with students. I have found that students respond better to instruction in a more personalized atmosphere, whereas in a classroom setting they might be too shy/embarrassed to ask a question. I'm looking to take the "scare" factor out of the equation (pardon the pun) and make math and science more enjoyable for everyone. My related experience is below, I hope to work with you in the future! SAT: 760 Quantitative/660 Verbal (old version of the test, 2004) GRE: 790 Quantitative/550 Verbal/4.5 Analytical Writing (2008) Teaching Assistant (TA) in General Chemistry 2 (Chemistry), Quantitative Analysis (Chemistry), and Unit Operations (Chemical Engineering)

Hobbies
The "hobbies/interests" section has always been a bit of a puzzler for me... How are you supposed to get a good idea of someone from what they do? As a graduate student free time is pretty scarce, but on my off days I just like to spend time with friends and family (cliche, I know, I know). Movies, theater, and travel are my top 3 leisure activities, but going to Central Park in the nice weather is a favorite as well. I really do get along with almost everyone I meet, but at this point, you're probably on the fence if I'm the tutor for you. I'm happy to meet for coffee/tea/water/beverage-of-your-choice before any kind of commitment to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. I hope to work with you in the future!
