As a rising senior at Harvard College, class of 2017, majoring in Government (Political Science), I am interning this summer in NYC at ABC television, where I pitch story ideas, research, investigate and write.
Experience
As a teacher, I tutored English as a Second Language, where I incorporate strategic as well as fun and effective techniques like music incorporation for language learning, to improve pronunciation and fluency. As a connector, conference Leader and speaker on leadership and entrepreneurship, I encouraged confidence and communication skills in the international students at Global Partners Institute (GPI) last summer and spring. As a writer, my published writing online includes work from the Harvard Law School (“A Transformative Era in Cloud Computing”) and the Harvard Business School (“Amazon in Brick and Mortar"). As a winner of the competitive Monadnock Fund Fellowship of the Harvard College Research Program (HCRP), I researched public multimedia light installations in New York City last summer. As a recipient of the distinguished Gellert Fund Fellowship of the Harvard College Research Program, I studied the French poetry of Victor Hugo and Jacques Brel in Paris and other parts of Europe two summers ago. I strive to breathe this enthusiasm for learning, language, research, and writing to my students.
