UC Berkeley - BA, History/Economics

I attend UC Berkeley and am working towards a degree in History and Economics. I am finishing up my last year here. I hope to teach History and Government courses to students in high school. I have experience working as a tutor. I have helped students in elementary through high school level with many subjects. This upcoming summer, I will be assisting at a program that helps high school students better prepare for the SAT as well as better prepare their college applications. I enjoy being a tutor so that I get a chance to work with students one-on-one. This also helps me get to know each student and to understand his or her unique learning style. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I like to spend time reading, learning languages, and listening to slam poetry.
