Experience

I love teaching and learning! I have 7 years of experience teaching history, women's studies, and writing at the undergraduate level at 4-year universities. I've taught introductory and higher-level courses. I also lead tours at a museum for high school, college, and adult groups. I'm extremely comfortable teaching and interacting with all age groups and skill/knowledge levels. I've worked one-on-one with students in the Writing Center at a law school and as a professor in writing-intensive classes. I've worked with students on daily assignments, longer analytical essays, research papers, legal briefs, resumes, application essays for college/fellowships. In all of these settings, I've had experience teaching students for whom English is as a second (or third or fourth) language. In high school I took both AP and IB courses in every subject (see above).
