Experience
Currently, I am a student in a PhD program in Theological Studies with Vanderbilt University. I am also seeking a minor of Ethics and Society, along with a certificate program in Women's and Gender Studies. Along with my new studies, I already hold a Master of Divinity plus a Gender, Theology, and Ministry certificate from Duke University. While at Duke, I also received an AM degree in Comparative Literature and African-American studies. I am looking forward to completing my thesis while at Vanderbilt. I am a recent transplant to New York City and I am thoroughly enjoying my brand new state. I wish that I would have moved to the big city more quickly! For my tutoring experience, I have taught children in a number of different subjects. Along with history, philosophy, and other topics, I can also help with preparation for tests. I had to take the GRE for my doctorate program, so preparation for the test is still fresh in my mind. Alongside tutoring, I like to watch television. My favorite show is Jeopardy and my goal is to become a contestant on the show prior to Alex Trebek leaving. When I am not performing my school duties or watching my favorite shows, I like to spend time running.
