I studied Jazz Guitar Performance and Creative Writing at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study and NYU. Soon after graduation, I worked in a private practice as an ophthalmic technician, which helped me decide that I had an interest in pursuing medicine. I then went on to study at CUNY Hunter College for their post-baccalaureate program. I started getting involved in their science center and this is when I started tutoring my fellow classmates in physics, organic chemistry, and chemistry. After all of that, I began studying in Long Island at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine, which is where I will be starting my second year soon.When tutoring, I make sure that I am giving my students a strong foundation before I dive into the many nuances of the subject. It is important to make sure that my students are understanding the core concepts instead of simply memorizing the facts.Additional subjects that I have a great deal of interest in include Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Chemistry, Anatomy, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Hebrew, Biochemistry, Honors Chemistry, Science, Math, MCAT, MCAT Biological Sciences, Algebra 3/4, Graduate Test Prep, and Languages.When I am not tutoring, I enjoy things such as basketball, running, reading, and playing music.
