I recently completed my master's degree, and I tutor a wide array of subjects. I was born and raised in Texas, and am now living in New York City. I have volunteered and been employed as a tutor since I was in high school, and I am passionate about helping others. Part of what makes me a great tutor is my friendly and approachable nature. I tutor in a way that is both professional but very fun as well. Completing hard work doesn't have to be doom and gloom; it can be made into a creative and enjoyable experience as well! I have experience helping students prepare for everything from standardized testing to philosophy. I have a very diverse educational background, and I am confident that my teaching style will lead to the success of my students. When tutoring, one must understand that problems are more than just what that problem is. We also need to understand how to fix the problem, and why we're doing what we're doing. It is very rewarding to work with my students and watch as they transform from disinterested to engaged and excited. I am passionate about what I do, and I look forward to helping my students achieve their goals.
