I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University, where I am a freshman. I have five years of volunteer tutoring experience, and two years of paid tutoring experience. This experience has taught me that there are several traits necessary for a tutor in order to help a student be successful, including creativity, flexibility, compassion, and patience. I have confidence that I can not only help my students with one subject, but can help them develop skills to achieve the results they want independently and in the future.I tutor students in arithmetic, algebra, pre-algebra, precalculus, calculus, trigonometry, biology, physics, cell biology, general biology, Russian, Spanish, English, reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, college essays, American history, public speaking, life sciences, ecology, social studies, and world history.
