I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. Following graduation, I worked as a high school chemistry teacher in the Bronx, and I am now studying for a Master of Education at Fordham University.In my eyes, one of the greatest benefits of working with a tutor is the valuable perspective and wisdom individual attention can provide. I enjoy the opportunity to help students face their challenges and exceed their academic goals. As a tutor, I believe each student deserves equal access to an engaging and excellent learning environment. Because of my own teaching experience with students in science and math, I know that great strides that can be made even in the most intimidating subjects as long as students have the necessary support and resources. I can offer pupils help with classes such as elementary school math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, chemistry, IB Chemistry HL, general sciences, test preparation for the SAT, and help with general study skills and organization.In my free time outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking, running, being outdoors, attending Broadway shows, and singing.
