I was a teaching assistant for Biology courses and Italian studies at Stony Brook University. I also have tutored elementary school students math, English, reading, writing, and sciences. I want to become a tutor because I enjoy working with other people. I enjoy reading books. They not only take our minds off everyday stresses, but also teach valuable lessons in life. Moreover, one may use his/her imagination when reading a novel or a short story and come up with different endings or different decisions than the ones the protagonist makes in the book. Also, art has always been one of my favorite topics. Paintings, just like books are open to different interpretations and they require your imagination.
