I received my B.A. in English Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University in 2013 and M.A. in Film Studies from Columbia University in 2015. My overall GPA is 3.8/4.0.
Experience
My tutoring experience started in the summer before college and has so far covered subjects including English, Mandarin and middle school maths and physics. Currently I am a part-time Mandarin tutor/babysitter. For the past years, I have helped students improve their grades, make progress little by little and realize their goals. The process of witnessing this happen truly rewards my hard work and dedication. I specialize in tutoring Mandarin to either kids or adults. I am able to create my own curricula and to find materials to suit each student's needs, levels and abilities. My goal is to combine joy of learning with teaching. So I will leave a certain amount of assignments after each session, but never overwhelming. From time to time, I resort to audio-visual aids to prepare students for knowledge of Chinese history and culture.
