Education
Sophomore at Syracuse University with a double major in Public Relations and Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Global Security and Information Tech. 3.9 GPA.
Experience
I have taken the maximum amount of AP and Honors classes in high school. Highly knowledgable in the field of humanities, literature, language and art. I previously served as the Editor in Chief of my high school's newspaper and was awarded at the Newsies Journalism Award. I have also been part of a Google for Education program that emphasizes personal branding, leadership and education. I have interned at a software company, an ad-agency and a start up, working with marketing, management and date information systems. I want to be a tutor because I am passionate about educating others. I want to share my passions and interests and what better way to do this than to teach kids what I have learned. My mother is also also an educator. She became a college professor at Age 27, and her passion and talent for teaching has inspired me to do the same. It is also one of the best learning experiences as it reinforces all previous knowledge and information, enhancing retention and recognition of facts and concepts.

Hobbies
I have a passion for travel and the culinary arts. I have previously traveled to 16 countries and 32 US states in the past seven years. My favorite countries are India, Japan, Brazil, Denmark and Italy. I believe traveling is the best way to learn and it opens your mind to a billion possibilities. Meeting new people, creating new memories and learning from their traditions, cultures and language first-hand is an experience that can not be paralleled by any textbook. I am also passionate about nature. I previously attended two summer camps during my high school in Maine and Montana. Living in a tent, working with only the bare essentials, smelling the sweet smell of soil, leaves and fresh water is an experience that makes me truly happy. Being out in nature without technology and disconnecting yourself from the outside world really makes you connect not only to the beauty of nature but it also truly connects you to yourself. Being in the wilderness creates my absolute bubble of peace.
