I have previous experience tutoring and I hope to teach in the future. As an educator, I subscribe to the idea that everyone has the ability to learn. Each person has their own individual way of processing what they're introduced to, however. I'm dedicated to working with students to understand how they best learn and adapt my teaching to effectively reach them. It's important to promote students' to be confident in their studies and abilities. I create personalized lesson plans that spark interest so students understand the value of learning, as opposed to seeing school work as drudgery. I can tutor students in Spanish, Reading, Writing, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Algebra, and English. I also can assist in building essay editing skills, grammar, mechanics, and phonics comprehension, and in preparing for the GED. I'm familiar with Special Education needs, as well. I attended Grand Canyon University, and currently live in NYC. I enjoy reading, building my webpage, X-Box gaming, and making soap.
