I am a recent graduate of Columbia University. My studies included looking at pop culture from a political perspective. I am equipped to teach a number of subjects, such as English as a second language, reading and writing, essay editing, phonics, literature, grammar, American history, government, public speaking, and social studies. I can help students improve a number of areas within their writing, such as creative writing, expository writing, and persuasive writing. In addition, I am able to help students prepare for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT.In my spare time, I enjoy writing and dancing. I am currently writing about various topics related to comedy. I live in New York City, which inspires me to write about the city's diverse culture. I absolutely love social justice and American history, and I am eager to share these passions with my students.
