Teaching Assistant for Duke University Talent Identification Program, Davidson, NC; Durham, NC; Winston- Salem, NC; Summer 2011- Summer 2013-I assisted teaching Mock Trial at a summer program for gifted middle school students and rising high school students during the summers of 2011, 2012, and 2013. Responsibilities included overseeing student performance in class, coordinating 2 major mock trials, and teaching hourly each night at evening session. I prepared presentations about the Bill of Rights, legal ethics, and other legal issues, as well as rhetoric, public speaking, and how to craft opening arguments, closing statements, direct and cross examinations. I helped them to incorporate careful reading, quality writing, public speaking skills, and thorough analysis for the purpose of crafting a case.
