Hobbies
My hobbies, apart from reading and writing, of course, include the performing arts (such as dancing, singing, and playing piano), arts and crafts (such as jewelry making and crocheting), hiking, swimming, and traveling. Throughout college I have found myself in several different majors and minors until finally settling into my studies towards a degree in English Literature - these include psychology, philosophy, religious and cultural studies, linguistics, and neuroscience. I participated in a youth group throughout my high school years, and have a fond sense of camp style activities as well as good leadership skills. I have also participated in an organization called the Friendship Circle, in which I visited and spent time with children with special needs once or twice a week for several years.
