Experience
I'm a current student at Cornell University, enrolled in the College of Engineering. I believe in guiding students to understand Mathematics and the Sciences, rather than just memorizing theories and formulae. I've worked as a tutor since I was in high school, and my areas of interest and experience are Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Physics, etc. I've always been interested in math and science, and I have excelled in my coursework throughout my life. I love tutoring these subjects because I get to transfer my enthusiasm for the material and watch student improvement over time. I've had excellent test scores when it comes to the SAT, Advanced Placement, and New York State Regents exams, and I am a great resource to students preparing for these kinds of tests (AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, SAT Math, etc.). I have a lot of helpful techniques in my arsenal that can help students do well with test-taking. While working to teach students new concepts in Math and Science, I've watched their grades improve, their confidence build, and their interest increase. Outside of school and tutoring, I am a complete Math and Physics nerd, and I love to skateboard.
