Experience
I worked as a teaching assistant for entry-level German at Smith College my senior year. This fall I am starting a research Fulbright in Berlin, Germany. During my year abroad in Paris, France, I tutored French middle school students in English. I am passionate about language and enjoy working with students to support and . I love the process of teaching and the interactive aspect of teaching a language. It is my goal to enhance their strengths and provide them with confidence as their skills and knowledge of the language improve. I began German in the 9th grade with a tutor. I spent the 12th grade in Düsseldorf living with a host family and attending the Waldorf school. After two years of intensive French at Smith, I studied abroad at Paris 7 Denis Diderot and Sciences Po, as well as at the Smith College consortium.
