Education
In 2014, I graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology. I am currently a graduate student at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, getting my Masters in Clinical Practice with a Mental Health specialization.
Experience
I have over 5 years of experience mentoring and tutoring. For most of the families that I have babysat for, I have provided academic support and helped the children out with their homework or projects. In addition, I used to tutor children ages 8 to 14 at the Children's Aid Society at there After-schools program. At the Children's Aid Society, I provided individual and group tutoring, specifically in subjects such as, reading, math, and English. However, I have experience tutoring in all subjects in elementary and middle school. I am currently finishing up my field placement at an Elementary and Middle School on the LES, where I provide academic support, in addition to counseling.
