Experience
After many years tutoring, I have devised a simple and efficient teaching method that really works. The techniques I teach are identical to those that I have employed to reach high academic levels myself. I hold a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Columbia University in New York, and I was a National AP Scholar. After graduation from Columbia University, I was accepted into a top-20 M.D. program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. More recently, I have spent six years working students from the ages of 8 to 28 throughout New Jersey and New York City in a wide range of subjects. My educational path has given me a wide range of skills that span many different subject areas, all of which I have tutored students in. The system I have devised for tutoring is has a few simple steps. First, I review the student's current grades, test scores, and other academic achievements. Then, I work with the student to identify areas of difficulty. After that, I formulate a plan on how best to spend our time together, as being efficient is key to being a strong tutor. Finally, I maintain a close relationship with the student, and assure them that I have every confidence in their abilities.
