Experience

I am originally from France and consider myself a down to earth and friendly girl. I married an American man about 27 years ago, and, after much moving around, we finally decided to make the U.S.A our new home. Being that French was our native tongue, my children and I had an extremely difficult time integrating into American culture when we first arrived to the States. Because of this, I fully understand how difficult it can be to learn a brand new language. While residing in France, I was employed by French middle schools and high schools and taught ESL and mathematics to many students. As for my teaching style, I truly believe that learning must always be fun and exciting. I am always on the lookout for new and unique ways to incorporate my students' interests and hobbies into my teaching. I feel fulfilled when I come across a former student who still remembers what I taught them years ago and how it affected their life. When I am not teaching, I can be found in the kitchen. I love cooking and baking. I also have a love of picking fresh produce with my children, when and if the weather permits.
