As a tutor, I want my students to enjoy their learning experience. I try to ensure they understand what they are learning and that they have the opportunity to see how the subject applies to daily life. I also try to outline steps so they can learn on their own and feel more confident in their ability. I want to know about my students' needs-specifically, what they need from me as a tutor, and how we can work together to create goals that will better serve them in their educational goals.I have been tutoring students for nine years, ranging in ages from children to adults. I have been both a private and a formal tutor, and I have also worked in creating curriculum for international students.I am available to tutor students in Elementary and Middle school Math, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1-2, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Science, Essay Editing, College Essays, Literature, Reading, Writing, Spanish 1-3, Life Sciences, Public Speaking, English, a variety of AP classes, and SAT test prep.I am a graduate of Claremont McKenna College.In my free time, I love to dance (I take dance classes), travel, learn Portuguese and other languages, go to outdoor concerts, and enjoy all kinds of summer activities.
