I believe that being a tutor is a big responsibility, and I always put in my best effort into every tutoring session. I have worked to refine my tutoring skills over the years. I have strong interpersonal skills that allow me to make students comfortable in the learning environment and I've developed different methods for explaining new concepts. I am a recent graduate of Pomona College, where I earned my degree in Public Policy Analysis. I worked in the writing center at the college as a tutor for three years. This was the place that I discovered my love for tutoring. I have found a job that allows me to assist others in learning, provides me the opportunity to learn new things myself, and pays me. I tutor an assortment of subjects, including English, history, government, math, public speaking, social studies, study skills, and test prep. In my free time, I enjoy camping, comedy, cooking, hiking, listening to live music, reading, traveling, and writing.
