I recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 3 years (overall GPA: 3.5). My degree is from the College of Social & Behavior Sciences in the Communication department (GPA: 3.7). I also received a Certificate in International Relations and a minor in Anthropology. I am now a graduate student at the London School of Economics and Political Science within the Gender Institute. I am in New York for the Summer to teach and research for my dissertation.
Experience
I have been a tutor for High School and Middle School students since the start of my education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012. My dream is to become a professor and I am currently on that path. I believe teaching is the greatest gift a person can give. I love learning and believe we can all learn something from one another. I am overly enthusiastic about what I love and find interesting and hopefully will help you find the same. I have been a teaching assistant for multiple classes. I helped answer questions and graded papers and tests. Writing is a big part of my life. Someday I wish to publish my own books and allowing me to teach others helps me grow as a writer. A lot of my classes allowed me to think critically about issues going on today. Whilst writing I like to draw on what is happening around us everyday. My writing is very opinion based and creative.

Hobbies
I have many interests and hobbies. I love to indulge in sports and exercise. I am currently very involved with Crossfit. I like to draw and take photographs when I have the chance. I always carry a notebook with me just incase I get ideas for ongoing or new projects. I have a very critical eye when it comes to the media and politics and I am very curious to how it is structured. I love animals and can't wait until I have a big enough place to get my own dog! I think going outside is also very important and love adventures. Another secret of mine is I make educational movies and one day want to create a documentary that is critical on gender and sexuality in horror films.
