I am reliable, patient, empathetic and understanding towards others. I also have the ability to clarify difficult concepts in a way that can be easily understood. I’m excited to tutor students because I find it so rewarding to guide and watch students improve and reach their goals. I am very passionate about teaching and I believe that each student can accomplish anything they set their mind to. As someone who once struggled with Math, I am in a great position to help students push through the difficulties and grasp each concept. Ultimately, my success in teaching is based on creating lessons that maximize student participation. Rather than spoon-feeding the material, I find that guiding students to discover the knowledge for themselves engages them and allows them to retain a substantial amount of information. Due to my extensive experience tutoring one-on-one classes both abroad (for English) and on campus (for Math), I’m comfortable with all types of students. Moreover, I simply enjoy working with people and I aim to motivate my students to learn and succeed academically while having fun. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to succeed!
