I am originally from Belgrade, Serbia (Eastern Europe). I moved to the USA at age 19 on a full track and field scholarship (Manhattan college and Univeristy of Memphis). I competed for the National Track and Field team for over 8 years. My biggest accomplishments are 4 time Balkan junor champion, finals (11th place) at European Juniors Track championship, and competing at the World Junior Championship in 2006. After having two daughters (9 and 4) I am back training and throwing again. I also coach throws (shot put, discus, javelin). Other than track, I love singing. I attended a music school in Serbia for 8 years where I majored in singing and played accordian on the side. My father is Serbian and my mother Romanian, therefore Serbian and Romanian are my two native languages. I also speak English and French fluently.
