I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching History and French. I am a native French speaker, and I moved to the United States in 2008. I had to overcome a lot of obstacles because I had to learn the English language. I am currently attending Hunter College as pre-medical student. I am working towards a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neurobiology. Additionally, I am also currently tutoring United States and European History and Biology. My experience growing up in France has taught me the value of learning about History. I also enjoy teaching biology because it represents a challenge. In addition to History and Biology, I am comfortable tutoring students in French, English, British Literature, and Psychology. Also, I am able to help students prepare for exams. I have always loved explaining ideas and concepts I'm passionate about to my family and friends, which got me interested in tutoring.My philosophy as a tutor involves explaining things in an easy and entertaining fashion. I also enjoy art, so I try to utilize colors and visual cues in my classes as well. Additionally, I like to relate concepts to real world examples. In my free time, I like to read, work on art projects, participate in physical fitness, travel, and watch movies.
