Experience

I've been teaching and tutoring for five years after a successful career as a scientist. My students appreciate working with me because I can relate concepts we study to the real world, and I can explain why every concept is important. I have a lot of interesting anecdotes about times I used these concepts in my career, and this make students more interested in engaged. I modify my teaching approach and the way explain things to match the learning style and interests of each student that I work with. I also will accommodate any learning difficulties that students have to help them achieve success. It's fulfilling to help students achieve their goals, and to put them in a position for future success. When I have free time, I enjoy hiking, mountain climbing, music, art, and history.
