Interim Program manager for Academic Support Programs, University of Washington 2014. Tutor/Mentor at the University of Washington 2013-2014 I have extensive experience assisting students with their writing assignments to excel not only in the task at hand but drastically improve their comprehension of the subject matter as well. I am a fully employed professional, but I find that my work as a tutor/mentor is an essential part of my holistic life that I intent to maintain. I am en experienced instructor at the college level, I tutor writing at the college and high school levels and I train newly recruited writing tutors to be effective academic professionals. I believe in very high achievement potential for students. my style is non-directive and aimed at fostering independent learners. If I do my job well enough, your student shouldn't need me anymore ;)
