I hold a degree in mathematics from Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia. I began my professional career working with the New York City Public School System. I've worked four years as a secondary school teacher. As an educator, I don't think the educational system does enough to develop mathematical abilities in students. I am a great teacher who loves getting students enthused about math. My educational and professional background make me an outstanding tutor for all levels of secondary school math. I have experience teaching trigonometry, math, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, pre-calculus, elementary math, and geometry. Along with tutoring subjects, I also work with students to prepare them to take standardized tests. I specialize in tutoring SSAT all levels, ISEE all levels, SAT, SHSAT, and Regents. When I'm not working, I spend a lot of time traveling and reading.
