Experience

I recently earned my bachelor's degree in economics and history with a minor in art history. This academic achievement taught me to love education, and I want to pass that love onto my tutoring students so they can experience their own "Aha!" moments. While I have a variety of business-related work experience ranging from startups to large healthcare corporations, I love to tutor because of how rewarding it is. I teach a variety of academic subjects, including standardized test preparation, English, reading, writing, literature, public speaking, history, and mathematics. I have also worked for many years with the Boston Scholar Athletes Program, which focuses on tutoring academic subjects like English and mathematics to student athletes. I am always seeking out learning opportunities and I love to help students enjoy learning. I have traveled the world and visited France, Italy, Brazil, Iceland, Switzerland, and India. I especially enjoy spending time with my family when I'm not working as a tutor. I have also played guitar for 15 years, and I love to play when I'm not working or learning. I have also picked up drawing, and I sometimes get to draw live models.
